“We adored working with Lindsey for our showstopper 3-tiered wedding cake. She was attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly well prepared throughout the whole process. We wanted to have a different flavour for each tier to accommodate guest’s dietary needs, opting for lemon gluten-free at the top, her incredible vegan chocolate in the middle and classic Victoria sponge as the base. She went above and beyond with her signature sugar flowers, perfectly matching our wedding floral.
Not only was the final product beautifully presented, with the sugar flowers being so immaculate they were presumed to be real by our guests, but each tier tasted divine with perfect texture and taste. We had a gorgeous bespoke three tier cake made for our wedding day in July. After receiving a lovely cake sample box from Sugar Rose Cakes, we chose our favourite flavours. A delicious layer of white chocolate and raspberry – the groom’s favourite, a tier of red velvet – favourite of the bride and a tier of carrot cake – inspired by our love of Christmas. The cake was beautifully decorated with real fresh flowers. The cake looked and tasted simply divine and was a fantastic talking piece!
